Company
Mission and tradition
We are the leading global specialty supplier of ultra-thin, functional metal and composite foils for technical applications. We are a system partner for our customers and attach great importance to a sustainable approach to our employees, our environment and society.
Tradition and future orientation perfectly combined
Since 1852, a success story in foils is being written in the historic city quarter of Eppstein.
At the foot of Eppstein Castle in the Rhine-Main region and about 20 minutes by car away from Frankfurt airport, we produce ultra-thin tin foils and lead foils and also foils based on their alloys or NE metals.
EppsteinFOILS is a mid-sized enterprise, equally characterised by many years of tradition, continuous adjustment to technological transformation, and changing customer requirements. Continuity and innovation go hand-in-hand at our company.
Modern equipment, the excellent qualifications of our employees, and a strong orientation on the customer are the bases for the special quality of our products.

Milestones
For more than 170 years, EppsteinFOILS and its predecessor companies have been operating at the Eppstein site in the vicinity of Frankfurt.
Since our founding period, we have been producing tapes, foils and capsules for use as cable foils, bottle decoration, wine and sparkling wine crown caps, as well as cigarette foils and tins for cosmetics products.
Our focus on holistic solutions and recognition of new market trends characterises us to this day: as early as in the 20s of the past century, our broad range covered aluminiumfoils, lead foils and tin foils that were rolled, printed, coloured, embossed and cut. In the subsequent years, the focus increasingly shifted to technical foil.
In the future, as well, nothing will remain as permanently as continuous change: through constant further development, use of state-of-the-art technologies and innovative product ideas, we take account of the changing market requirements.
