EppsteinFOILS has been supplying primary products for many years, which are used as contact surfaces of ribbons suitable for soldering – these are the connections in solar cells through which the generated electricity is transported and discharged.

Further promising applications are being developed for our tin foils in the photovoltaics sector together with institutes and customers.
 

Foils for photovoltaics

We patented the idea to use metal foil as a flexible conductor board suitable for soldering. It is an attractive alternative to proven systems. Under the name contacfoil, we can thereby offer alternative wiring solutions for the next generation of photovoltaics modules.
